ensemble  elúcian was formed in 2000  and achieved
great  success  with   its   first  innovative project, first 
contact,   which   was  broadcast  on  swedish  national  
television. since then the ensemble has continued with   
concerts, recordings and further pioneering productions    
in a variety of  constellations and styles.

  ian peaston is the founder and leader of  ensemble
  elúcian.  following  studies  in the uk and germany ian
   moved to sweden to play with the nordia-ensemble. ian
    now works as violinist and concertmaster in a number of
     swedish and danish orchestras  while developing exciting
      new projects with ensemble elúcian.
